They provide great practice for beginners or children who are writing letters for the very first time. John is approaching four and a half and has had exactly zero interest in writing his letters. I am not overly concerned about this — he has time. But the teacher in me wants to get going!
These are great to use with kids who are quieter and tend to be lethargic. Also great to use after sitting activities to get the juices flowing again. Just make sure you do some type of calming activity after an Alerting activity before asking your child to sit back down to learn and work again.
